Akosua Boateng
Akosua Boateng is an HR and Organizational Development Practioner. She holds an MBA (Human Resource Management with specialization in Training and Development) from Central University College and an M.A. in Development Communication from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Bachelor of Law from the GIMPA Law School. Her undergraduate studies were undertaken at the University of Cape Coast where she graduated with a Bachelor of Management Studies and also holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretaryship and Management Studies. She has undertaken supplementary trainings in Protocol, Diplomacy and Etiquette, Project Management, Advanced Communication and Organizational Development, in various countries.
Akosua has 15 years of professional and practical experience in the field of General Administration, Human Resource Management and Project Management. She has worked with a number of organizations in the international, private and public sector by holding various Human Resource functional positions at the Millennium Development Authority, UNICEF Ghana, Anglo Gold Ashanti Limited (Obuasi), Capital Group Limited and State Insurance Company (SIC).
Her meticulousness, organizational and communication skills had her appointed as the Secretary of the UN Social Mobilization Committee on Ghana’s Preparedness and Response during the 2014 Ebola outbreak in neighboring West African countries. She is a member of the Institute of Organization Development (USA) and currently work as a team member of Corporate Partners Ghana Limited.
